COP29 – Baku, Azerbaijan

The 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is a crucial global event focused on addressing the challenges of climate change.

Scheduled to take place in 2024, COP29 will bring together representatives from nearly 200 countries, along with environmental organizations, scientists, and civil society.

The conference aims to assess progress on climate goals, negotiate new commitments, and promote international cooperation in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, adapting to climate impacts, and financing climate action. COP29 will play a key role in shaping the global climate agenda and ensuring that the goals of the Paris Agreement are met.

As every year, IDFC will be offering a pavilion to all members for events, meetings, and workshops during two weeks.
